A United Methodist Minister and Counseling Psychologist

Retired Psychologist, from Region III Mental Health Center, Tupelo, Mississippi

Supply Minister.

Since June 1, 1999 I have been retired as a staff psychologist at Region III Mental Health Center, Tupelo. I had worked there since December 1982, and from September 1991 to September 1998 was Director/Psychologist of the Center for Children. That Center was closed October 1, 1998. From May 1994 to June 2000 I was Supply Minister, Booneville Presbyterian Church, Booneville, Mississippi, and New Hope Presbyterian Church, Rienzi, Mississippi (six miles south of Corinth, Mississippi on Highway 45).

AS A PSYCHOLOGIST: I do some consultations but no longer engage in psychotherapy. Only do a few select evaluations of various mental disorders.

AS A MINISTER: Duties are limited to preaching occasionally and counseling some. I am available for funerals and weddings.

FLIGHT INSTRUCTION:

I am a Certified Flight Instructor - Instrument and CFI for single engine aircraft. If you are interested in learning to fly, give me a call: (662) 844-6430. I am active in the Civil Air Patrol with the rank of Captain.

MINISTERIAL ASSESSMENT SPECIALIST:

I also do psychological evaluations of persons seeking candidacy in the ministry of the United Methodist Church. Applications are made to the District Superintendent and the special committees of the local Districts.
